Two-Way Radio over BGAN with mapping and tracking
The system is primarily designed for military use. It will enable field operatives anywhere in the world to communicate with operatives in any other location – no matter how far away.
Two-Way offers two key benefits:
- Radio contact between field operatives and the urban head office, providing instant intelligence
- The GPS position of the remote personnel is provided to the urban head office whenever the PTT button is pressed, increasing field operative security.
The system
The remote location system comprises:
- Inmarsat vehicle mounted satellite antenna
- Satlink MapTrak
- Vehicle VHF Antenna
