The Fleet55 system is made up of a compact, high-gain Inmarsat antenna and a high-speed terminal. The antenna weighs 18kg, contains no critical electronics and has very low power consumption. Using reliable L band satellite frequencies, the maritime antenna maintains 64kbps and 128 kbps communication links on any sea and in the most extreme weather conditions.

The below decks terminal provides the comprehensive set of interfaces that make Fleet 55 the ultimate maritime communication package (RJ11, RS449, X.2, Euro ISDN, RS232/PC). With it, passengers and crew can transmit and receive email, fax, images, video and secure data.

Two Fleet 55 systems can be bonded together to provide even greater bandwidth.
